Jules Reid + C. ORRICO = Trunk show

We love a reason to have an event and what is better than a unique clothing line coupled with a fabulous designer, a little bite to eat and a few giggling fun sisters. So we are having the first of many Trunk Shows in 2010.

Jules Reid brings her love of rich patterns, vibrant colors and whimsical details to her signature collection for Spring/Summer 2010. Jules Reid infuses 1970’s inspired print with classic sophisticated silhouettes. Flirty dresses, modern tunics and flowing Kimonos reflect Jules’ free-spirited personality and her exquisite personal style. Unabashedly bold patterns, unique hints of detail around hems and necklines add a feminine twist to Virginia, Beatrice, and Eloise some of Jules Reid’s top-selling styles.

As a young child, Jules and her family moved to India and since then she has spent a lifetime inspired by the exotic patterns and high voltage colors found in her mother’s saris and the painted elephants of Jaipur. Jules Reid moved to New York and began a career as a Wall Street powerhouse broker. She then took a risk and followed her childhood dream and true passion by founding her own interior design company. Jules work echoes her innate sense of design and dynamic personality with her use of bold colors and fabrics. “Designing beautiful interiors developed my sense of color and texture, but I have always been drawn to the fashion industry. Now I am designing my own patterns and fabrics – a true designer.” Jules uses silk, Italian cotton; ikat and knit jersey textiles in her collection to achieve a vintage bohemian feel combined with the sculpted feminine silhouettes of French couture.
Jules Reid is created and manufactured in New York City.
